The official visit: 2017 combines |
Pick Six Previews is introducing The Official Visit combine series for the summer of 2017. The Official Visit will launch in the states of Delaware and Pennsylvania to provide high school football players an opportunity to establish valuable verified athletic metrics to be used for training and college recruiting purposes.
Players will be tested and verified in the following combine tests:
Included in each player's participation:
High school coaches receive a detailed report on their roster. This report will provide quantifiable insights on annual player development and drive player accountability throughout offseason training.
The Official Visit will be traveling to individual high schools in order to promote maximum player participation.
Players will be tested and verified in the following combine tests:
- 40 yard dash (speed)
- 10 yard split (acceleration)
- 3 cone drill (agility/flexibility)
- Vertical jump (explosiveness)
- Powerball toss (upper body strength)
- Height/Weight/Wingspan (size)
Included in each player's participation:
- Electronic certificate displaying verified testing results
- Inclusion on The Official Visit testing report that is shared with every college football program in the country (DI, DII, DIII)
- Players decide which of their results are included (i.e. players can choose to omit results that they do not want to share with colleges — a true no-lose situation)
- Players can also include other information to be shared with college coaches on the report, such as: GPA, SAT, ACT, HUDL/Highlight link, contact information, etc.
- Baseline testing results that can be trended year-over-year
- By testing at The Official Visit every year, players will be able to trend their growth patterns and physical gains. This information is useful for any player setting annual training goals. Some players (i.e. late bloomers) may benefit from a verified growth curve to share with college coaches.
