In an effort to serve the only other sport comparable to football based on the demands of one's athleticism, Pick Six Previews is unveiling The Official Visit combine series for lacrosse players in 2017 and 2018.
Players will be tested and verified in the following combine tests:
Included in each player's participation:
High school and club coaches receive a detailed report on their roster. This report will provide quantifiable insights on annual player development and drive player accountability throughout offseason training.
The Official Visit will be traveling to individual high schools and club teams in order to promote maximum player participation.
Players will be tested and verified in the following combine tests:
- Height/Weight/Wingspan (Size)
- Vertical jump (Explosiveness)
- 40 yard dash (Speed)
- 10 yard split (Acceleration)
- Shuttle run (Agility)
- Powerball toss (Strength)
- Shot Speed
Included in each player's participation:
- Inclusion on The Official Visit testing report that is shared with college lacrosse programs at every level (DI, DII, DIII)
- Players can also include other information, such as: GPA, SAT, ACT, HUDL/Highlight link, contact information, etc.
- Post-season accolades like All-State and All-Conference team memberships will be applied to each applicable profiles to improve exposure to college coaches who filter the database by this criterion.
- Electronic certificate displaying verified testing results
- Baseline testing results that can be trended year-over-year
- By testing at The Official Visit every year, players will be able to trend their growth patterns and physical gains. This information is useful for any player setting annual training goals. Some players (i.e. late bloomers) may benefit from a verified growth curve to share with college coaches.
