Ironically, the only good shotgun snap of the series was the designed intentional safety. The 10-point deficit proved insurmountable, as Mississippi State dealt Florida its first loss of 2000 and broke UF's 72-game winning streak against unranked foes. Florida finished with NEGATIVE 78 Rush Yards - an output that 2013 Al Borges (Michigan) can appreciate.
