2009 HEISMAN: MARK INGRAM

With the Crimson Tide passing attack struggling, Ingram put the team on his back.  His 246 rushing yards set a Bryant-Denny Stadium record and this 4th quarter drive - 5 straight carries covering 65 yards - helped keep Alabama's undefeated season alive.

2008 HEISMAN: SAM BRADFORD

Bradford's Heisman Moment wasn't a single play, but a series of games that are unmatched in the history of the sport.  He led the Oklahoma offense to become the only team EVER to score 60+ points in 5 straight games.  He also led 2008 OU to score the most points ever 702 points.  The 5 week stretch that won Bradford the Heisman also positioned Oklahoma to earn the bid to the National Championship over fellow 11-1 teams Texas and Texas Tech.
vs. Nebraska  62-28  (311 yards 5 TD)
at Texas A&M   66-28  (325 yards 4 TD)
vs. #2 Texas Tech   65-21 (304 yards, 4 TD)
at #11 Oklahoma State   61-41  (370 yards, 4 TD)

2006 HEISMAN: TROY SMITH, OHIO STATE

Troy Smith had several amazing plays in his 2006 season, but this scrambling touchdown pass may be the best.  In a close game with Penn State, Smith threw this 50-yard dart on the run to seal the victory.  After an undefeated regular season, Troy Smith won 91% of the vote, the largest Heisman win since 1942.

2005 HEISMAN: REGGIE BUSH*, SOUTHERN CAL

During a late night West Coast game that was surprisingly close, Bush took over.  After this game, we all knew we were witnessing something special and the Heisman trophy all but had his name on it.

2001 HEISMAN: ERIC CROUCH, NEBRASKA

For the second straight season, Nebraska and Oklahoma met in October ranked #1 and #2 in the BCS.  Late in the 4th, in a hard fought game, Nebraska led 13-10 but was having trouble moving the ball.  Then history was made, as coach Frank Solich called a trick play known as "Black 41 Flash Reverse Pass." QB Eric Crouch caught the 63-yard TD pass that sealed the win, and his spot in Heisman history...
